Competition and public procurement law

The liberalization of markets does not necessarily mean the deregulation of markets. ww&p is proficient in all aspects of the regulation of competition and in consumer protection law. We are routinely involved in questions of market dominance and the design of agreements that do not violate laws against cartels and other anti-competitive conduct. We represent firms in administrative proceedings before competition authorities and courts. We also counsel our clients in the establishment of compliance programs and advise bidders and government authorities in proceedings for the award of public contracts. In regulated markets, we develop solutions aimed at opening markets or gaining access to existing infrastructure. We also aid our clients in negotiations concerning the provision of basic utilities, rates and fees, as well as advertising and sales regulations.
